SSC Random Act of Kindness
The concept of giving is at the heart of SSC’s culture.
Whether it be giving our all to our clients, our colleagues or each of our communities. We wanted to encourage our team to make a difference, give back, and spread the joy of giving in each community. So the SSC Random Act of Kindness Series was Born! Each month an SSC team member is given the opportunity to give away several hundred dollars to a random stranger in their community, in a creative way.

Introducing the heartwarming 15th episode of SSC Digital's Random Acts of Kindness! In this installment, Jessica and Sam brought blessings to numerous lives, providing essential food, toys, and grocery funds where they were needed most.
First, they brightened the day of the little ones at a local nursery school, showering them with toys, teddies, and pizzas, spreading joy and laughter. But their kindness didn't stop there.
They extended their generosity to three homeless individuals, gifting each with R500 to ease their lives and help with much-needed groceries.

Get ready to dive into the heartwarming journey of our 13th edition of Random Acts of Kindness!
Our adventure began on July 30th when we stepped into the St. Vincent Strambi Home for the Aged. There, we not only scheduled heart-to-heart appointments but also embarked on a mission to truly understand the needs of our cherished elderly residents.
Fast forward to August 5, 2023, the day of our Random Act of Kindness Activity. As we went about our day, an encounter with a dedicated garbage collector caught our attention. Struggling with a loaded bicycle, his difficulty in speech and movement resonated with us deeply.
Intrigued, we paused and had a conversation that unveiled his story. Inspired by his spirit, we made an extraordinary decision – one that would soon shape a remarkable chain of events.

Introducing our Random Acts of Kindness series! In the first act, we highlight a heartwarming gesture: distributing grocery packs to families in need and serving burgers and juices to street children in the Mountains of Talaingod, Davao del Norte, Philippines. In our second act, we extended our support to Mary Tess, a compassionate individual who tirelessly ran errands for her hospitalized relative. We provided financial assistance for her relative’s medication, as they battle advanced-stage breast cancer.
